Dial-A-Story The Turner Free Library is proud to partner with the Massachusetts Trial Court to offer access to virtual court services through the Access to Justice library initiative. The Access to Justice initiative works to ensure that all members of our community have equitable access to court resources, including virtual services. Through the Access to Justice website you can: look up case information, join a remote hearing, get help from the court service centers and front desks, find court forms, and more. Printing and Reserving a Private Space at the Turner Free Library to Attend Court Remotely More information about printing services and costs at the Turner Free Library. Turner Free Library card holders can reserve the Meeting Pod or the Turner Free Studio as a private, quiet spaces to attend court remotely. For assistance in reserving a space without a library card, please email ralib@ocln.org or call 781-961-0932, ext. 4. Due to the popularity of these spaces, please make a reservation as far in advance as possible.

The Turner Free Library Friends group fundraises for the library, providing access to even more free programming for the town. The Friends are unable to accept donations of items that are: Dirty Moldy or have a cigarette smell Burnt or water damaged Damaged or missing covers or pages Excessive writing, markings, or highlighting Computer, language, or travel books more than 3 years old Textbooks more than 5 years old VHS or Cassette Tapes Magazines or workbooks Encyclopedias Donations can be dropped off in bins next to the Children's Help Desk at the library or in the book donation bin at the Zapustas Ice Arena (240 North Street). The World Languages Room also includes an “English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESoL) and Citizenship Corner,” which offers books, DVDs, and audiobooks for English-language learners and anyone interested in applying for U.S. citizenship. Hanging in the room are portraits of several members of the Turner family, whose generous donation founded the Turner Free Library. In conversation with these historic paintings is the mural See Yourself in a Story (2024) by Randolph artist Jamaal Eversley. The mural incorporates reference photos taken at Library events and sent in by members of the Randolph community as well as depicting some of the historic paintings in the World Languages Room. The See Yourself in a Story mural - which was funded by the Cultural Council of Randolph, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency - celebrates diversity, inclusivity, history, and the power of storytelling to connect us all. The Trustees of the Turner Free Library effectively govern library proceedings. Fideicomisarios The Board of Trustees are an essential part of the TFL team! As public library Trustees, the Board establishes library policies and acts as the agents of public trust in governing the library. The Trustees of the Turner Free Library meet the first Tuesday of the month at 5:30 pm, unless otherwise noted. All meetings are posted on the Library's online calendar , at Town Hall, and on the Town of Randolph website . Board of Trustee meeting bylaws , agendas , and minutes are available online. If you are a Randolph resident interested in serving on the Board of Trustees, please send a letter of interest to Sharon Parrington Wright, Library Director, at admin@randolph.ocln.org .
